Hotel chain goes green with AI-powered food waste reduction

Vegetable and fruit peels are turned into condiments like chutneys and jams.

SEVERAL Hilton Hotels in Malaysia are expanding their green initiative and using artificial intelligence (AI) technology to combat food waste.

It has been successful in achieving a significant reduction of 64% in food waste at Hilton Kuala Lumpur and DoubleTree by Hilton Shah Alam i-City.
