Celebratory dim sum menu for sharing


A dim sum restaurant chain has rolled out its special menu themed “Seasons of Reunion” in time for Chinese New Year and Ramadan.

The menu from Dolly Dim Sum features dishes such as Beef Mapo Tofu, Mushroom Seafood Claypot, Golden Wontons with Wasabi Mayo; and Sweet Corn Mochi Balls, along with refreshing seasonal beverages such as Peach Oolong Calamansi Tea.

Beef Mapo Tofu offers silky tofu and tender Australian ground beef simmered in a spicy, fragrant sauce while Mushroom Seafood Claypot has succulent prawns, baby octopus and garoupa wok-tossed in aromatic oyster sauce.

Golden Wontons with Wasabi Mayo features chicken dumplings resembling “pockets of fortune” while Sweet Corn Mochi Balls has chewy mochi with a creamy sweet corn filling.

A la carte dishes are priced from RM32.90, while dim sum items are from RM13.90.

The chain is also presenting two festive set menus designed for three persons.

The Blossom Set Menu is priced at RM208++ and the Jade Set Menu at RM248++, featuring a selection of dishes and dim sum items, including those from the festive menu.

There is a separate add-on price for yee sang.

Meanwhile, the Lunar Yee Sang with Crispy Fish Skin is available at selected restaurants until March 3.

The yee sang is priced at RM41.50 for a small size (serves three to four) and RM82.90 for large (serves six to eight).

The takeaway version is presented in a festive box.

The yee sang is available at the following locations: Suria KLCC, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Nu Sentral, IOI City Mall, Sunway Putra Mall, The Curve and Sunway Pyramid in the Klang Valley, Sunway Carnival Mall in Penang and Imago Shopping Mall in Kota Kinabalu.

The menu is available until March 20.

Advanced reservations are advised for large groups.

Dolly Dim Sum offers an all-day dining experience, specialising in modern halal dim sum, fried rice and noodles.

Restaurant operating hours are 10.30am to 10pm daily.
