OCR’s Residensi Akasia fully sold as project reaches topping-out stage

KUALA LUMPUR: OCR Group Bhd has topped out its Residensi Akasia development in Shah Alam, with all 963 Rumah Selangorku (RSKU) units sold within 18 months of its launch.

In a statement, the property developer said Residensi Akasia, the first RSKU development under its Kyra Collection Series, comprises 963 residential units and 39 shop units with a gross development value (GDV) of RM288.84mil.

OCR said registration has opened for Phase 2, which will comprise 1,085 RSKU units and 23 shop units with a GDV of RM322.49mil.

The new phase will offer 1,022 sq ft units priced at RM288,000. Each unit will have three-plus-one rooms, two bathrooms and two car parks, and will be semi-furnished.

The two phases have a combined estimated GDV of RM611.3mil.

Residensi Akasia fronts Persiaran Mokhtar Dahari and is about one kilometre from the Damansara-Shah Alam Elevated Expressway (DASH).

The group said the development is expected to have direct access from Persiaran Mokhtar Dahari upon completion of the upcoming phase.

Group managing director Billy Ong Kah Hoe said the full take-up within 18 months reflected demand for the development.

“As we continue to build on this momentum, our focus remains on delivering homes that combine practical layouts, accessibility, meaningful inclusions and supporting amenities that serve the needs of today’s homebuyers,” he said.

OCR said it would continue to strengthen its affordable housing portfolio while proceeding with the next phase of the Kyra Collection Series.
