ITMAX bags RM186.8mil Perkeso contract

ITMAX System managing director and chief executive officer William Tan Wei Lun.

PETALING JAYA: ITMax System Bhd has been awarded a RM186.8mil contract from Social Security Organisation (Perkeso) to develop, integrate, deploy, operate and maintain Perkeso’s AI-powered Employment Portal.

In a statement, the artificial intelligence (AI)-powered integrated digital infrastructure service provider said the contract carries a five-year tenure, commencing on Sept 1, 2026.

ITMAX System managing director and chief executive officer William Tan Wei Lun said the project represents an extension of its existing AI and digital platform capabilities into a new vertical.

“The scope goes well beyond the development of a conventional portal, encompassing system and data integration, AI-based matching, cloud services and cybersecurity, as well as the ongoing operation and maintenance of the platform.

“Over the years, ITMAX has developed scalable AI, software, data and systems integration capabilities through its smart city solutions. The underlying technology foundation is scalable across different industries and use cases.”

Tan said the award demonstrates the company’s ability to deploy the same core technology capabilities beyond smart cities into new verticals, while remaining firmly within our core competencies as an integrated digital infrastructure solutions provider.

“We believe this significantly broadens the addressable market for ITMAX and creates new avenues for long-term growth,” he added.
