EPF ceases to be substantial shareholder of Gas Malaysia


KUALA LUMPUR: The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has ceased to be a substantial shareholder of Gas Malaysia Bhd following the disposal of 1.2 million shares in the company.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Gas Malaysia said the EPF disposed of 1.203 million shares on Aug 13, 2026.

Following the disposal, the EPF ceased to be a substantial shareholder of Gas Malaysia.

Gas Malaysia closed one sen higher at RM5.07 on Tuesday. The counter has gained more than 16% year-to-date.
