Genting, GenM shares suspended pending announcement


KUALA LUMPUR: Trading in the shares of Genting Bhd and Genting Malaysia Bhd has been suspended on Monday pending the release of a material announcement.

The companies said in separate stock exchange filings they had put in their respective requests for the suspension of trading in the shares - which has been approved by Bursa Securities.

Trading in the structured warrants of the two companies will also be suspended at the same time.

Genting's shares were last traded on Friday at RM2.86 a share while Genting Malaysia's stock closed last week at RM2.14 apiece.
