Community initiative supports needy families in Belait district, Brunei

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Two families in need residing in RPN Kampong Panaga, Seria in the Belait district received contributions in a collaborative effort by Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) as part of the community outreach initiative.

The initiative was jointly carried out by Village Consultative Council (MPK) members of RPN Kampong Panaga, alongside eight new UTB students and representatives from the university’s Student Representative Council (MPP).

During the initiative, the group started at the Panaga Lagoon, where the UTB students were briefed about the village, followed by a warming-up session and brisk walk.

The walk directed the participants to the recipient’s household, where they handed over the contributions.
