Bursa Malaysia suspends short-selling of XL Holdings


KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia has suspended intraday short-selling (IDSS) on XL Holdings Bhd (XLHB) until 8.30 am tomorrow, June 25, 2026, after the stock breached the price limit.

At 12.06 pm, the company’s share price dropped 20 sen to 68.5 sen with a total of 5.03 million shares traded. The shares had earlier opened at 88.5 sen.

The exchange announced that the suspension was triggered after the stock dropped by more than 15 per cent from the reference price. - Bernama
