KOTA KINABALU: Some 20,000 native trees have been replanted in the Kinabatangan river bank reserves, nine months after the state government ordered the removal of oil palm trees there.
The estimated 400 oil palm trees in the riparian reserves were removed and replanted with native trees by the conservation group Koperasi Pelancongan Mukim Batu Putih (Kopel).
