Android Messages for Web lets you send and receive texts from your computer

Android users can expect new features on Google's Messages app in the next few weeks.

There are only a handful of things that can pry your eyes away from the computer screen and look at your phone. One of them is SMSes – for non-iMessage users, at least.

But that too will soon change with the introduction of Android Messages for Web. Yes, it is just like WhatsApp for Web, except that this is for SMSes. Better late than never, yes?
