SHAH ALAM: Selangor’s Eliza Tan is prepared to raise the bar for Malaysian swimming after breaking the national record twice in one day at the Malaysia Games (Sukma) in Selangor.

The 19-year-old, born to Australian and Malaysian parents, splashed to gold with a blistering time of 56.78s in the 100m freestyle final at Akuatik Selangor.
