Eliza wins part one of pool showdown with Nadia


SHAH ALAM: Eliza Tan drew first blood in her much anticipated freestyle showdown with Perak’s Nadia Lim by picking up the first Malaysia Games (Sukma) gold medal for the hosts at Akuatik Selangor.

The 19-year-old splashed to a golden debut for Selangor by winning the girls’ 200m freestyle race, the first of eight finals contested yesterday.
