Malaysia’s junior bowlers strike gold twice in Doha

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s bowlers were on a roll at the Asian Junior Championships by delivering a golden double in the team events at the Doha International Bowling Centre on Thursday (July 31).

The boys’ team clinched gold in a dramatic fashion, amassing 5,198 pinfalls to edge Kuwait by just two pins (5,196) in a nail-biting finish. Hosts Qatar settled for bronze with 5,052 pinfalls.
