PETALING JAYA: Diver Pandelela Rinong’s early exit in the women’s 10m platform individual at the World Championships in Doha, Qatar, marked an end to an era of Malaysia’s glory days in the event.

The two-time Olympic medallist missed out on a chance to qualify for the individual event at the Paris Olympic Games in July after finishing 29th in the qualifying event at the Hamad Aquatics Centre.
