Coach Balamurugan prepping Azreen for the big stage

KUALA LUMPUR: Athletics coach M. Balamurugan will not accompany his prized charge Azreen Nabila Alias to the Tokyo Olympics but he is working hard behind the scenes to prepare her.

The 21-year-old Azreen received a last-minute wild card slot to run in the women’s 100m in Tokyo and the coach is working together with the National Sports Institute (NSI) psychologist to get her to avoid stage fright.
