Joey, Nurin, Ariana shoot their way to first Asian bronze ahead of SEA Games

PETALING JAYA: Teenagers Joey Tan, Ku Nurin Afiqah Ku Ruzaini and Ariana Nur Diana Zairi earned a breakthrough by becoming the first Malaysian women recurve archers to stand on the Asian Championships podium.

It was a wonderful debut for the 18-year-old Joey, Nurin (19) and Ariana (20) as they stunned their opponents to win a bronze in the women’s team recurve event in Dhaka, Bangladesh on Tuesday.
