Archer creates history in Holland and qualifies for Paralympics

Well done: Para archer S. Suresh will be making his Paralympic debut in Tokyo next year after his breakthrough at the World Archery Para Championships in Hertogenbosch, Holland.

PETALING JAYA: Archer S. Suresh created history by becoming the first Malaysian to qualify for the final of the World Archery Para Champion­ships in Hertogenbosch, Holland.

The 25-year-old shot his way to the gold-silver medal shootout in the men’s Open recurve category on Thursday. His feat also earned him a berth in next year’s Tokyo Paralympic Games.
