Flaws in KLIA Vehicle Access Management System must be corrected immediately

I AM writing to highlight a deeply frustrating experience I had last week at the KLIA Terminal 1 pick-up area. The incident exposed serious flaws in the Vehicle Access Management System (VAMS) now enforced by Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB).

At approximately 1.30pm, I entered the pick-up zone at Level 3, fully aware of the 10-minute grace period for quick pick-ups. However, when I attempted to exit within that window, I was met with an utter nightmare.
