Use AI to eliminate human fatigue and bias

I REFER to the letter in StarEdu, “With AI, does learning English still matter?” (Sunday Star, Oct 18). The writer makes a compelling case that while AI can translate and correct grammar, humans still need to learn the language to understand culture and build critical thinking.

While I agree that human judgment remains vital, I believe the letter misses a massive psychological barrier: our deeply irrational fear of AI making mistakes.
