Good time to establish bureau for transport safety

I WELCOME the establishment of the Malaysia Transport Safety Bureau (MTSB), “Preventing the same accidents” (The Star, Oct 19).

This is an important and timely move that could significantly strengthen transport safety in Malaysia by providing a more systematic and independent approach to investigating accidents involving road, air, maritime and rail transport.
