Verdict:

TRUE
Heavy rain lasting approximately two hours triggered a flash flood at Taman Habu Height in Cameron Highlands on March 20.
The incident was reported at around 2.30pm after water mixed with mud from the Habu Height area overflowed onto the main road following rain that began at around 2pm.
No fatalities were reported, but two reports of vehicle damage were received as a result of the incident.
Emergency response teams arrived at around 3pm to carry out monitoring and security control to ensure the situation was kept under control.
The operation involved the Fire and Rescue Department, the Civil Defence Force and Roadcare, which carried out cleaning work at the affected location.
"The situation returned to normal after the rain stopped at around 4pm and cleaning work was completed," said Azri.
Earlier, a video recording of the muddy flood went viral on social media following the heavy downpour.
The 15-second clip showed a fast-moving torrent of brown, muddy water completely submerging the main road used by vehicles.
Posted on Threads by a user known as @farah.ilyanaa, the recording also showed several vehicles unable to pass through the stretch due to the strong current and high water level.
Azri reminded the public to be cautious during heavy rain and not to spread unverified information regarding the incident.
