Verdict:

TRUE

Sporting goods retail chain Decathlon Malaysia has issued a warning concerning fraudulent advertisements on social media, which falsely claim to sell their camping tents at an incredibly low price of RM9.97.

"Please be aware that these are fraudulent offers and not affiliated with us in any way," said Decathlon in a statement.

Decathlon responded by sending alerts through its app and posting warnings on Facebook and other social media channels.

They advised customers to always verify they are on the official website - www.decathlon.my - to ensure a safe shopping experience.
