A MESSAGE has been circulating on social media, claiming that recipients can now choose the vaccine of their booster shot.
Is this true?
ProtectHealth Corporation Sdn Bhd - a wholly-owned subsidiary of ProtectHealth Malaysia set up under the Health Ministry – debunked the viral message in a series of tweets.
It said that currently, health facilities do not allow recipients to choose the vaccine for their booster shots.
ProtectHealth added that the public should not be easily misled by false information and advised them to seek verified information from the relevant authorities.
