Laos records no new Covid-19 cases again as four more patients recovers


VIENTIANE: Laos on Sunday (May 10) reported no new case of Covid-19 (coronavirus) for 27 consecutive days, and four more patients have recovered.

Lao Deputy Minister of Health Phouthone Meaungpak told a press conference in Lao capital Vientiane that the total number of Covid-19 cases in Laos was unchanged at 19, and four more of the virus patients have recovered.

All of the recovered patients are treated in Mittaphab Hospital and living in Laos capital Vientiane.

As of Saturday, Laos tested 2,908 suspected cases with 19 cases tested positive, and 13 patients have recovered.

Six infected cases are treated in the designated hospital of Mittaphab Hospital (Hospital 150) in Lao capital Vientiane.
