Kee Ming unit secures RM40mil M&E contracts


KUALA LUMPUR: Kee Ming Group Bhd said its wholly-owned subsidiary Kee Ming Electrical Sdn Bhd has undertaken two contracts valued at RM40mil for mechanical and electrical (M&E) engineering services for two separate industrial projects in Valdor Industrial Area, Penang, and in Taman Perdagangan Elmina, Selangor, respectively.

It said in a stock exchange filing the letters of award (LOA) were awarded to the subsidiary by a third-party contractor, which is principally involved in the design, supply and installation of steel structures, as well as general civil engineering and building construction projects. 

The LOAs are expected to contribute positively to the earnings, earnings per share and net assets of the Company for the financial year ending March 31, 2027, and throughout the duration of the respective projects.
