Dead whale found in mangrove forest

Jakarta: A dead sperm whale was found stranded in an area of mangrove trees on Tasilo Beach, Rote Ndao regency, in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) last week.

The decaying carcass of the 9.2m whale was first discovered in the coastal area of Tasilo village by local fishermen, it appeared to have extensive injuries.
