A social media content creator’s attempt to raise awareness about online child safety has uncovered some shocking revelations, reported Sinar Harian.
Zamarul Ramzie Abdullah, better known as Papazam, said he posed as a 15-year-old girl using fake accounts on social media platforms and dating apps.
“I wanted to see how the conversation would unfold when they knew the profile depicted a 15-year-old child.
“When the conversation started veering towards sexual matters, I realised the issue was more serious than just a prank call,” he told the daily.
As the girl, he arranged meetings with individuals around Kuala Lumpur, before revealing his identity.
Zamarul claimed about 90% of those he met were aged 35 and above and were married.
“I began thinking about the possibility that other children might have been victims or could still be facing the same risk,” he said.
The father urged parents to monitor their children’s online activities.
He also advised the public to preserve evidence of suspected child sexual exploitation and report it to the authorities.

“You neglect your child but never skip a party,” she was quoted as saying.
In a separate post, she said such individuals deserved to be criticised.
Many who read her posts speculated that they were directed at her former husband, while others viewed them as general remarks.
