KUALA LUMPUR: The late Tan Sri Lim Sing left imprints in politics, business, education and multiracial welfare, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.
The MCA president said Lim’s passing was a great loss to the nation, MCA and the community, in a Facebook post paying tribute to Lim on Thursday (Oct 22).
Dr Wee went to Kampung Baru Jerkoh in Benta, Pahang, after completing his duties and matters in Parliament to pay his last respects to Lim, who had been serving as Raub MCA chairman before his passing.
“During his lifetime, Tan Sri Lim played a very important role in various fields, including politics, commerce, education, Chinese community affairs, and the welfare of people of different religions and races.
“May Tan Sri Lim’s family remain strong and steadfast as they navigate this difficult time,” Dr Wee said in his Facebook post.
