SEREMBAN: Police have recorded statements from 21 people, including students, teachers and the parents of a 14-year-old student, to assist in investigations into his death at a school hostel in Kuala Pilah Friday (Sept 25).
Negri Sembilan police chief Asst Comm Datuk Alzafny Ahmad said the cause of death of Muhammad Idlan Fareeq Shahril had yet to be established.
"The cause of death cannot be determined at this stage, and we are still awaiting the results of further tests," he told reporters here Saturday (Sept 26).
Earlier, ACP Alzafny said a Form Four student had been remanded for six days to assist in the investigation, with the case being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code. - Bernama
