KOTA TINGGI: The body of another 16-year-old boy who went missing while swimming at Pantai Tanjung Lompat on Wednesday (Sept 2) has been found.
Tanjung Sedili Maritime Zone acting director Maritime Commander Mohd Najib Sam said the body of Muhammad Adib Hafiy Kamal was found at about 11.15am on Friday (Sept 4).
"The victim was found by a Tanjung Lompat Recreation Association boat about 0.5 nautical miles south-east of Tanjung Siang.
"The body was then recovered by a Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) boat before being transferred to a Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) boat and brought to shore.

"The victim to have confirmed dead and the body was identified by his family," he said in a statement on Friday (Sept 4).
Najib said the victim's body was sent to Hospital Kota Tinggi for further action while the search and rescue operation for the remaining missing teenager continued.
"The operation resumed at 7am, with the search area expanded to about 103 square nautical miles based on the latest developments and assessment.
"A total of 61 officers and personnel from various agencies are involved in the operation, including MMEA, Bomba, the police, Marine Police, Civil Defence Force and Health Ministry.
"The operation is also being assisted by the local community, with four boats from the recreation association taking part in the search," he added.

He said the search area would continue to be expanded and adjusted based on current developments, weather and sea conditions, currents and information received from personnel on the ground.
It was earlier reported that six boys from a group of 15 who went camping at Pantai Tanjung Lompat near Tanjung Balau got into trouble while swimming on Wednesday.
Two of them, Mohamad Faqrul Isqandar Abdullah and Muhammad Afiq Ruzaini Mazlan, both 16, were rescued by beach-goers.
The body of Alif Taqiuddin Kamal Hasrul, 16, was found later that day, while the body of Muhammad Thaqif Rayyan Rumainoor, 16, was found on Thursday (Sept 3).
Another victim, Mohamad Haiman Fitri Supian, also 16, is still missing.
