A FAMILY in China sparked outrage online for allowing a young child to urinate on the floor of a high-speed train carriage in full view of other passengers, Sin Chew Daily reported.
None of the family members – the father, mother and grandmother – cleaned up the mess, which meant that the urine flowed across the carriage floor.
A train attendant eventually arrived to clean it up.
One passenger complained that the family had been chatting and laughing loudly on board.
Despite repeated reminders by train attendants, the family did not keep their voices down.
The passenger later posted a photo of the incident on social media.
Chinese media outlets described the incident as a reflection of uncivilised behaviour, calling the parents selfish.
Internet users also criticised the family.
“The toilet was just a few steps away. They must be sick in the head,” one netizen wrote.
> Hong Kong actor Kenneth Ma has dispelled speculation that his actress wife Roxanne Tong was pregnant, China Press reported.
He explained that Tong, 39, simply loved wearing oversized clothes.
“The clothes she buys are so big that even I can fit into them,” he joked.
Ma, 52, was recently spotted in Kuala Lumpur attending the wedding of Malaysian model Lisa Ch’ng and TVB actor Mat Yeung.
