Aeon Big brings same in-store prices and greater convenience on foodpanda

Malaysians can now shop with one of the country's most trusted hypermarkets on the foodpanda app, choosing from more than 16,000 grocery and household products for delivery in under an hour.

FOODPANDA Malaysia is strengthening its growing grocery offering with the launch of Aeon Big on its platform, making it more convenient for Malaysians to shop from one of the country's most trusted hypermarkets with the ability to choose from more than 16,000 grocery and household products for delivery in under an hour.

Covering 21 Aeon Big stores nationwide, customers on the Foodpanda app can now shop the same wide selection at the same in-store prices.

From fresh fruits and vegetables, meat and seafood to pantry staples, beverages and household essentials, they can complete their grocery shopping wherever they are.

The partnership marks another milestone in Foodpanda's efforts to make everyday grocery shopping more accessible, expanding its network of trusted retail partners and giving customers greater choice, value and convenience.

The company’s managing director Kenneth Soh said, "The way Malaysians shop for groceries is evolving, with more people looking for greater flexibility in how and when they shop.

“Our role is to make that experience as simple and seamless as possible by expanding the range of trusted retailers available on Foodpanda.

“Together with partners like Aeon Big, we're helping customers shop with greater confidence and convenience every day.”

Aeon Big (M) Sdn Bhd managing director Kenji Fujita added that this collaboration strengthens its omnichannel strategy, allowing the hypermarket to serve customers better, wherever they choose to shop.

”At Aeon Big, we have always been committed to providing quality products at great value.

“Customers will also have easier access to our high-quality Aeon Big house brands, such as Big Value and Living Choice.

“Through this partnership with Foodpanda, we're making that experience even more accessible by giving customers another way to shop while continuing to enjoy the affordability, quality and service they expect from us.”

To celebrate the launch, customers can enjoy up to 50% off selected products from Jul 24 to Aug 13, alongside a chance to win RM10,000 in weekly prizes through the 'Order and Win' campaign.

Customers should also keep an eye out for Pau-Pau's Grocery Run at Aeon Big Subang Jaya, Mid Valley and Wangsa Maju, as Foodpanda's beloved mascot will be making surprise appearances to give away vouchers worth up to RM15 off plus free delivery, available while stocks last.

To unlock even greater value, shoppers can also maximise their savings on everyday groceries by signing up for a Pandapro subscription.

The partnership was marked by a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between Foodpanda Malaysia and Aeon Big at Aeon Big Subang Jaya.

Members of the media also stepped into the shoes of foodpanda pickers through a "Grocery Dash" experience, offering a behind-the-scenes look at how grocery orders are picked, packed and prepared for delivery.
