THE Human Resources Ministry (KESUMA) remains committed to ensuring that Malaysians have access to quality employment opportunities through a more responsive, inclusive, and resilient labour market ecosystem, in line with the Malaysia Madani vision.
As of June 30, 2026, a total of 668,321 job vacancies have been advertised through MYFutureJobs, managed by the Social Security Organisation (PERKESO), with 96,700 job opportunities currently active and open for application by Malaysians.
These statistics demonstrate that employment opportunities continue to be available across various sectors and skill levels.
Therefore, through PERKESO and the MYFutureJobs platform, the Madani Government provides comprehensive support, including job matching, career counselling, resume reviews, interview preparation, as well as reskilling and upskilling programmes, to help job seekers return to the workforce more quickly.
Of the 96,700 active job opportunities, nearly 40% consist of high-skilled jobs, more than 30% involve the TVET sector, while almost 20% offer salaries exceeding RM5,000 per month, reflecting high industry demand for local talent.
In addition to the digital platform, the Madani Government, through PERKESO, is also expanding access to employment opportunities by organizing MYFutureJobs Career Fairs nationwide as part of its initiative to empower career opportunities for the people.
Between January and May 2026, a total of 2,989 programmes were organised, involving 86,594 job seekers, with 14,029 individuals successfully securing employment and a further 15,809 shortlisted for subsequent interview stages.
The Madani Government, through PERKESO, also provides Mobility Assistance (Bantuan Mobiliti) of up to RM1,000 to assist job seekers who need to relocate to start a new job.
KESUMA, through PERKESO, will continue to strengthen cooperation with employers and industry players to ensure more citizens secure quality employment, enhance their skills, and build sustainable careers.
