Mother killed in two-car crash in Kesas


SHAH ALAM: A mother was killed in a road accident after a two-car collision along the Kesas Highway.

Shah Alam OCPD Asst Comm Sarudin Samah said that the accident occurred on Friday (July 10) night along KM30.7 of the highway.

In a statement on Saturday (July 11), he said the accident occurred when a car crashed into the victim’s car, leading to her suffering fatal injuries.

Her nine-year-old son, who was also in the car, suffered head injuries.

“The survivor is currently being treated at the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital (HTAR).

"The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987,” he said.
