MACC seeks man who failed to appear for appeal mention in Ipoh High Court

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) is seeking a 40-year-old man who failed to attend the mention of his appeal case at the Ipoh High Court on Friday (July 10).

The anti-graft agency said Megat Khairul Anuar Sulaiman is scheduled to appear for the fifth mention of his appeal on Monday (July 13).

The MACC said Megat Khairul Anuar, who was charged under Section 17(a) of the MACC Act 2009, could not be contacted despite efforts to trace him at his last two known addresses in Selekoh, Perak, and Kota Baru, Kelantan.

According to the commission, he had also failed to appear at the Ipoh High Court for four previous appeal mentions in January, April, May and June 2026.

The MACC added that a warrant of arrest was issued against him on June 8.
