CELEBRITIES may project strength and confidence in the spotlight, but they too carry unseen emotional burdens behind the scenes.
Actress Nur Fazura Sharifuddin (pic) said the unwavering support of her family and close friends has been one of the biggest sources of strength in helping her navigate the many challenges, Kosmo! reported.
The single mother of one, known by her stage name Fazura, admitted that while many see her as a strong and resilient figure, she too had endured painful experiences and emotional struggles that were never shared publicly.
“People may think I’m okay from the outside. As an actress and someone who is often seen as a strong woman, there are times when we want everyone to see us that way. But I am human too,” she said.
Fazura, 43, said some of the trials she went through were difficult to describe, but they were deeply hurtful and emotionally exhausting. Nevertheless, she is grateful to now be in a happier, calmer and more peaceful phase of her life.
She also expressed appreciation for the many “silent supporters” whom she believes were sent into her life at the right time to stand by and uplift her.
Fazura and actor Fattah Amin divorced in October 2024 after seven years of marriage. They have a six-year-old daughter, Nur Fatima Aisya.
> Fruit sellers are expecting the prices of premium durian to drop further if oversupply continues, Utusan Malaysia reported.
Currently, Musang King is being sold for between RM10 and RM15 per kilo at some places and Black Thorn costs between RM25 and RM28 per kilo.
Last year, Musang King was priced at RM28 per kilo and Black Thorn at RM45 per kilo.
Durian seller Muhamad Hafiz Yussof, 34, said more farmers are now growing premium durian varieties, while harvesting is taking place at the same time in Penang, Pahang, Johor, Kelantan and Terengganu.
“When supply is high, prices will naturally fall. If there is more supply in the coming weeks, prices could drop even further,” he said.
