A CEMETERY in Klang, Selangor, was hit by a series of vandalism with at least eight tombstones damaged, China Press reported.

They appeared to have been struck with a blunt object, causing them to break apart. Debris was left scattered around the place.

In some of the tombstones, the photos of the deceased were smashed.

All of the vandalised tombstones were close to one another, sparking suspicions that the act of vandalism was not random.

An Internet user uploaded a photo on Facebook recently, showing the tombstones which were damaged to varying degrees.

The committee under the Klang Hokkien Association, which looks after the cemetery, had made a police report.

To prevent further incidents, they planned to set opening and closing hours to the cemetery.

> Hong Kong singer Andy Hui sparked concern among his fans after he looked unrecognisable due to weight loss, China Press reported.

To his fans, he appeared to have aged at least 10 years when they saw him during his performance at a recent charity show.

Hui, 58, apparently had sunken cheeks and his face was drooping.

Responding to questions about his weight loss, Hui said he did not consider himself excessively thin.

He attributed his slimmer appearance to the stress in promoting his new music as well as his diet and exercise routine.

Hui also revealed that he was sensitive to MSG, preferring to have lighter-tasting meals at home.
