MetMalaysia warns of thunderstorms in several states until 6pm (May 28)


PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has warned of thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds in several states until 6pm on Thursday (May 28).

In a statement at 3.10pm on Thursday, MetMalaysia said the states affected are Kedah (Bandar Baharu); Perak (Kerian, Larut, Matang and Selama, Kuala Kangsar, Manjung, Kinta, Perak Tengah, Kampar, Bagan Datuk and Hilir Perak); Terengganu (Dungun and Kemaman); Pahang (Rompin); Selangor (Petaling); Negeri Sembilan (Seremban, Kuala Pilah, Jempol and Tampin); Johor (Segamat) and FT Kuala Lumpur.

It also warned of bad weather in Sarawak affecting Kapit (Song and Kapit) and Bintulu (Tatau).
