Five vehicles damaged by falling trees in KL storm


KUALA LUMPUR: Three fallen tree incidents were reported in the city following heavy rain and strong winds on Monday (May 25).

The Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department said the incidents occurred along the MEX Highway, near Pangsapuri Seri Malaysia and near Institut Sosial Malaysia.

No injuries were reported, although five vehicles were damaged in the incidents at Pangsapuri Seri Malaysia and Institut Sosial Malaysia.

The department said all affected roads have since been reopened after clean-up work was completed.
