Senior S'gor CID officer found dead, believed to have fallen from Shah Alam condo


SHAH ALAM: A Selangor Criminal Investigation Department (CID) senior officer died after he is believed to have fallen from a condominium in Seksyen 14 here.

Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Shazeli Kahar said the Shah Alam district police headquarters control centre received information regarding the incident at about 3.07am on Wednesday (May 20).

“The victim was confirmed dead at the scene.

“The case has been classified as sudden death pending the outcome of a post-mortem,” he said in a statement.

Comm Shazeli also extended his condolences to the victim’s family and urged the public not to speculate on the incident.
