NGO graft probe: MACC gets remand extension for duo


KUALA LUMPUR: The remand for the duo nabbed in connection with the alleged misappropriation of about RM230mil in funds belonging to a non-governmental organisation (NGO) has been extended.

The NGO's deputy president and a company director had their remanded extended until Thursday (April 30) after an application was made by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) at a Shah Alam Magistrate's Court on Saturday (April 25) following the expiration of the inital remand order.
