Man found dead inside car in Ipoh


IPOH: A man was found dead inside a car along Jalan Taman Ng Wan Hup, Taman Pertama here on Saturday (April 25) evening.

Perak Fire and Rescue Department assistant operations director Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad said the department received a call at 6.25pm before a team from the Ipoh Fire and Rescue Station rushed to the scene, located about 10km away.

"Upon arrival, the 54-year-old victim was found unconscious inside a locked car. After the door was successfully opened using special equipment, medical personnel examined the victim and confirmed that he had died at the scene," he said in a statement Saturday night.

He added that the victim had been handed over to the police for further action. - Bernama
