MetMalaysia warns of thunderstorms in several peninsula states until 7pm (April 18)


PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has warned of thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds in several states until 7pm on Saturday (April 18).

In a statement at 3.45pm on Saturday, MetMalaysia said the states affected are Kedah (Baling, Kulim and Bandar Baharu); Penang (North Seberang Perai, Central Seberang Perai and South Seberang Perai); Perak; Terengganu (Dungun and Kemaman); Pahang (Jerantut, Kuantan and Rompin); Selangor; Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya; Negri Sembilan (Seremban, Port Dickson and Rembau); Melaka and Johor (Tangkak, Segamat, Muar, Batu Pahat, Kluang, Pontian, Kulai and Johor Baru).
