36,141 automatically registered as new voters

KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 36,141 citizens aged 18 and above between Feb 1 and Feb 28 have been automatically registered as new voters under the Supplementary Electoral Roll for Feb 2026.

Election Commission (EC) secretary Datuk Khairul Shahril Idrus said the supplementary electoral roll (DPT BLN2/2026), which was verified on March 17 and gazetted yesterday, also comprises 14,129 registered voters who changed their constituencies, as well as 2,322 voters who changed their voting category or status.

“The DPT BLN2/2026 is open for review for 30 days from March 18 until April 16,” he said in a statement, Bernama reported.

He said the EC calls on citizens aged 18 and above within the period, as well as registered voters who have applied to change their constituencies or voter category or status, to check their names in the roll.

He said if their names are not listed, they may submit claims by completing Form C via the online application at https://myspr.spr.gov.my or by visiting the relevant State Election Office.
