KUALA LUMPUR: The Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Shah, was briefed on the progress of the new Social Security Organisation (PERKESO) Rehabilitation Centre in the state by Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri R. Ramanan on Monday (March 16).

Ramanan said the audience, which took place at Istana Perak, was also to seek Sultan Nazrin's consent regarding the proposed name and date for His Royal Highness to officially inaugurate the centre.

"I express my deepest gratitude for the Sultan's consent to grant this audience and for his concern regarding the implementation of initiatives and programmes that benefit the people.

"Truly, His Royal Highness's advice and views are profoundly meaningful and serve as a guide in ensuring that every drafted initiative is executed to the best of its ability for the well-being of the people and the prosperity of the nation," he posted on Facebook Monday.
