Major crash in Seberang Jaya causes traffic snarl on North-South Expressway


BUTTERWORTH: A major crash involving three cars and a lorry is causing traffic congestion on the North-South Expressway near Seberang Jaya.

The accident at KM137.4 of the NSE heading north was reported at 3.12pm on Saturday (March 14).

The Fire and Rescue Department said six people were involved in the crash.

The cars were badly damaged, with one of them overturned in a roadside ditch.

Firefighters are still carrying out operations at the scene.

The extent of injuries sustained by the victims has yet to be confirmed.

Traffic in the area was reported to be moving slowly as emergency personnel worked to manage the situation.
