Passing of Tun Siti Norma Yaakob a great loss to judiciary, nation


KUALA LUMPUR: The passing of former Chief Judge of Malaya Tun Siti Norma Yaakob is a great loss to the nation, particularly to the judiciary, which had benefited greatly from her contributions throughout her service.

The Office of the Chief Registrar of the Federal Court, in a statement on Friday (March 13), said the late Tun Siti Norma, who served as Chief Judge of Malaya from Feb 8, 2005, to Jan 5, 2007, had rendered significant service to Malaysia's judiciary.
