Number of Sabah flood evacuees unchanged at 363 this morning


KOTA KINABALU: The number of flood victims in Sabah remained unchanged at 363 people from 133 families on Tuesday morning (March 3), the same as the night before.

The Sabah State Disaster Management Committee Secretariat, in a statement, said that all those affected are residents of Beaufort.

"All victims are still taking shelter at the Banir temporary relief centre, which was opened last Wednesday," it said.

A total of 93 villages in the district have been affected by the floods.

No casualties or fatalities have been reported so far, the secretariat added. – Bernama
