Dengue cases, deaths more than halved in 2025, says Ahmad Zahid


PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia recorded a significant 54.7% decline in dengue cases to 55,399 cases in 2025 compared with 122,423 cases in 2024, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi says.

The Cabinet Committee on National Health chairman said in a statement that the matter was presented at the committee’s meeting on Monday (Feb 23).
