Continuous rain forecast to affect Sabah until tomorrow


KUALA LUMPUR: Continuous rain at the alert level is expected to affect Sabah until Friday (Feb 21), according to Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) director-general Dr Mohd Hisham Mohd Anip.

In a warning issued at 2pm on Tuesday, he said the affected areas are the West Coast (Ranau and Kota Belud), Sandakan (Telupid, Beluran and Sandakan), as well as Kudat.

The public can obtain the latest weather information through MetMalaysia's official website, the myCuaca application or via the department's social media platforms, as well as by contacting its hotline at 1-300-22-1638 for any enquiries. – Bernama
